WHY Aregbesola Need To Beware of De Rauf

permit me to clarification and inform some people who believe that De Rauf is a campaign organization own by the Governor of the State of Osun, Ogbeni Rauf Adesoji Aregbesola.

De Rauf as it rightly called is a socio political group formed single handedly by the founder of an organization called campaign for Democracy and Right of the People (CDRP), Com Amitolu Shittu. Although, the main aim and objective of the organization is to support Aregbesola come 2014 for the interest best known to him. On the day De Rauf was lunched, it took the intervention of some people who are very close to the Governor before he attends the lunching program.

I’m saying these not to discredit the group after all for a group like De Rauf to work for the actualization of Aregbesola second term is a plus to the Governor, but to Guide the public on what am about to explain and the reason why Aregbesola need to beware of the Group. The group have sponsored more than three write up in the news paper where the D.G of the group has lay claim of been appointed by the Governor of the State of Osun.

Having said all these, it is time to rely go into the main reason why the excesses of the Director General of the De Rauf should be checkmated. It will be recall that on 24th of August 2013. Daniel Ohikehna hide under the wheel well of an Arik Air Flight from Bennin Air Port to Lagos and immediately after the ugly incident, the D.G of De Rauf made a political statement which he can not fulfill that a scholarship award will be giving to the stowaway boy and was published by a national news paper with the headline “Arik Air Stowaway Teenager: Gov. Aregbesola's Group Offers Him Scholarship” and up till now, no body from Ogbeni’s cabinet has ever respond to the political statement made by this group, knowing fully well that the Governor will not comment on the issue not until it degenerated.

But the implication of the political statement made by the said person is that the parents of the stowaway boy believed that the promised came from Governor Rauf Aregbesola since Com. Amitolu Shittu the DG of De Rauf have claimed on many occasions that he was appointed by the Governor.

Also, there was a press conference held on September 9, 2013 by the National Association of Air Craft Pilots and Engineers (NAAPE) where the act of the stowaway boy was been described as a serious of security breach, NAAPE also condemned the planned scholarship by some Governors for the stowaway boy, saying that such gesture should be condemned and not by encouraging others to engage in such dastardly act.

Immediately after the press conference, opposition party in the State of Osun pastes it on the social media (facebook) that NAAPE condemned Aregbesola for the award promised the stowaway boy, Daniel Ohikehna.
Base on this analysis, Aregbesola and his genuine loving people need to beware of De Rauf, because Yoruba normally say that “tomode ba peku toba peja to daje ojo toba pa aro gidigba nse ni a lo gbeka iyare mole ooooo”. The governor should also come out to clarify the self acclaimed appointment which the D.G claimed that he was appointed by the State Governor.

Twenty five years ago judgment was passed by Justice Auta to hang famous Nigerian writer, Ken Saro-Wiwa and since then the man has been living and rising in his career forgetting that one day nemesis will surely catch up on him.
