The Special assistant to the speaker of the house of representative, Mr Imam Imam has described the plot to impeach Tambuwa by some lawmakers as a mere speculations. Imam said, as far as the speaker is concerned the impeachment plot was a mere speculation. “It is pure speculation.You know the Speaker does not react to speculations.That is our position and that is all we have to say,” he added. On Saturday, the plot to impeach the speaker of the house of representative hit a dead end due to the fact that the two-third statutorily require to remove Tambuwa became more difficult. The report of the impeachment plan spread on Friday following an allegation by the Baraje’s led faction of the People Democratic Party that the sum of N2.5million has been given to the lawmakers from the Presidency to remove the speaker.
